We will cover case studies from real life as suggested by our own members as part of the program. Our speaker will be Mike Cheng from Frazier & Deeter and Margaret for auditing. Snacks, assorted beverages and lunch will be provided each day.
Course Information:

The individual edition will provide an FRF SMES, SSARS review, Quality Control Standards, SAS 145 – Risk Assessment (AU-C 315), implement 842 Leases, Rev Rec (606 Training). The business edition will include IAS 20, Nonfinancial asset impairment, Short discussion on ESG.
Speakers:
Mike Cheng is a practice partner with Frazier & Deeter oversees the firm’s professional practices to accounting and audit. Before joining the firm, Mike was a senior project manager at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). At the FASB, he served as the Private Company Council (PCC) Coordinator, where he was responsible for all PCC-related matters. Currently, Mike serves on the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) Technical Issues Committee (TIC) and advises the FASB on leases implementation.
Margaret Kloser is a manager in Frazier & Deeter’s Assurance & Advisory Practice. Her role focuses primarily on technical accounting advisory where she conducts projects for businesses undergoing complex transactions and implementing new accounting standards. Margaret works with a wide range of industry groups at FD, including construction, financial services, professional services and manufacturing and distribution.
