You’ll receive answers to all your tax questions in an accessible PDF manual covering all the latest federal legislative issues. This course covers all the bases: recent tax changes, preparing business entity tax returns, IRS audit issues, employment taxes and fringe benefits, as well as a myriad of common consulting issues business entities encounter on a regular basis. Individual tax update topics will be covered. The last hour of the session on Friday will include a state tax update presented by Gregory Saul from the Ohio Society of CPA’s.
Speaker Biography:
Bradley Burnett is a practicing attorney with 30+ years of tax experience. He has delivered more than 3,000 presentations on US tax law throughout the country and abroad. Brad has authored texts for 35 different CPE courses. His seminar style delivers the subject matter in a briskly paced, enthusiastic and witty fashion. Brad’s forte is candid communication of practical ideas relating to tax law. Brad has been top-rated and has received the Illinois Society of CPA’s Instructor Excellence Award. In addition to presenting CPE, he has also served as an adjunct professor in graduate-level legal courses. Brad earned his accounting and law degrees and then received a Master of Laws in taxation degree from the University of Denver School of Law Program.
Class will run from 8:30am-4:30pm both days. Light breakfasts, snacks and lunch will be provided.
CPE totaling 16 hours in tax will be provided. This class is designed for practitioners at smaller sized firms and topics will be covered within that scope. Digital materials will be emailed several days in advance. Attendees should print their own copy if desired. If you have specific federal tax topics you would like to see addressed, please email them to us and we will request coverage from the speaker in advance.

No refunds will be provided after November 4th, but attendee substitutions are accepted.
Member firms will be invoiced $50 for those canceled October 15th – November 4th and invoiced in full for those canceled after November 4th.

CPAFMA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
